Peccadillo on the chute at the top of the Falkirk Wheel
How
does it work?
Peccadillo is perfect
for wedding parties of 12 or less. There are stunning locations
along the canal. You can choose your route and where you would
like the ceremony to take place. For legal Marriage ceremonies,
you must notify a local authority of your intention to get
married so they can issue a Marriage Schedule and we can advise
what you need to do in preparation for this.
We can supply all your catering needs on board (with careful
consideration of all dietary preferences). We use fairly traded,
organic produce wherever possible. Alternatively you can disembark
at one of the Forth & Clyde's canal-side pub restaurants.
Extra guests can join you at these venues and we could even
arrange for them to take short trips on Peccadillo (see routes
below to whet your appetite with the scenery) so that everyone
is part of your Water Wedding experience.

Humanist
Celebrant Gerrie Douglas-Scott
is availableto perform fully legal Marriage ceremonies and
romantic Civil Partnership ceremonies. (The Civil Partnership
itself must be done at a Registrar’s Office).
Gerrie has been a Celebrant for about 5 years and conducted
hundreds of ceremonies. She speaks fluent Spanish and passable
French which often comes in handy. For Gerrie Humanism means
“Being human (!) and all that that embraces - caring,
compassion, listening, sharing, being as kind to the earth
as I can be, truly embracing diversity and ‘difference’,
challenging barriers to inclusion. If I can help couples celebrate
their love in the way that means most to them then I am overjoyed.”
